FAQs - FormsDB for Elementor Forms

Plugin Compatibility

Q1: Does FormsDB work with Elementor Free?
Ans: FormsDB for Elementor Forms works with Elementor Pro and Hello Plus form builders. Elementor Free alone does not include a form widget. If you are using Elementor Free, you can install Hello Plus to create forms and use FormsDB to store submissions or sync them with Google Sheets.

Q2: Does FormsDB support Google Sheets integration?
Ans: Yes. FormsDB allows you to connect Elementor forms with Google Sheets and sync form submissions automatically in real time.

Q3: Can I save form submissions without using Google Sheets?
Ans:
Yes. FormsDB lets you save Elementor form submissions directly as WordPress posts or custom post types without connecting to Google Sheets.

Q4: Does FormsDB save Hello Plus form entries?
Ans:
Yes. FormsDB fully supports Hello Plus forms and stores all submissions securely inside the WordPress admin dashboard, allowing you to view, manage, and organize entries easily.

Common Issues & Solutions

Q1: Why are my form submissions not syncing to Google Sheets?
Ans
: This usually happens due to an incomplete Google API setup or an expired Google account authorization. Make sure the Google Sheets API and Google Drive API are enabled, reconnect your Google account if required, save the form settings again, and submit the form once to test the connection.

Q2: Why are Elementor form submissions not saving as WordPress posts?
Ans:
This can happen when the selected post type does not exist or the post status is set to Draft or Pending. Verify that the correct post type is selected, check the post status in the WordPress dashboard, save the form settings again, and resubmit the form.

Q3: Does FormsDB affect website performance or speed?
Ans:
No. FormsDB is lightweight and runs only when a form is submitted. It does not load unnecessary scripts on the frontend and does not impact website speed or performance.

Q4: Why can’t I see the FormsDB action in Elementor?
Ans:
This usually means that a required plugin is not active. Make sure FormsDB is activated and confirm that either Elementor Pro or Hello Plus is installed and active on your site.
