In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to apply conditional logic on fields placed inside a multi-step form created using Elementor’s Form widget. The Conditional Fields for Elementor Form plugin fully supports multi-step forms, allowing you to show or hide fields or entire steps based on user input from previous steps.
What is a Multi-step Form?
A multi-step form is a form that breaks down a long or complex form into multiple smaller steps or sections, showing only one part at a time. Instead of overwhelming users with too many fields all at once, it guides them through a step-by-step process, improving focus, and completion rates. Follow below steps to enable conditional logic:
Enable Conditional Logic in Each Step
- Go to the Form Step field where you want to apply logic.
- Open the Conditions tab. Toggle on the condition.
Show/Hide Next Step

- Choose whether you want to show or hide the step based on the answer from a previous field.
- Under Condition Trigger, you can combine multiple conditions using AND or OR logic.
- Enter the Field ID of the form field that will trigger the condition.
- Next, choose a comparison operator (e.g., Equals, Not Equals, Contains, etc.)
That’s it, you’ve now successfully set up conditional logic for your multi-step form.
